What’s New At Teatime Catering? Mango Summer Soup!
Summer Mango Soup, what could be more refreshing on a hot July evening. This no bake soup is a puree of fresh mango, jimica, cucumber, garlic, fresh lime juice, jalapeno, and yogurt. It’s pictured here with a single blackberry for garnish, but could also be served with a more savory garnish such as lump crab meat or coarsely chopped chilled shrimp and cilantro for color. The yogurt cuts the sweetness of the mango so it doesn’t confuse the palate into thinking it’s a smoothie!
