Great Hall at DOJ Washington DC

provides a catered retirement party recently at the Department of Justice in downtown Washington DC.  The client retiring was fortunate to utilize the Great Hall, a stunning and majestic room.
The event was nearly 350 guests and no access to a kitchen so the menu needed simplicity.  That doesn’t mean dull!

Caprese Skewers

In the depth of August heat, what better alternative than Caprese Skewers?  Marinated Fresh Mozzarella Balls, Grape Tomatoes and Basil are a perfect choice for a stand up buffet:  easy to eat.
We also served Assorted Domestic and Imported Cheeses and Crackers along with Fresh Vegetable Basket and Hollowed Cabbage Filled With Dip.

Buffet Reception for a Retirement Party

We also provided a selection of Finger Sandwiches along with Teatime’s Citrus Fruit Punch. The crowning jewel of the buffet was Becky’s Fresh Fruit Arrangement with Seasonal Fruits to include Papaya, Red and Yellow Watermelon, Cantaloupe and Honey Dew Melon.

 Teatime can create a menu for any occasion with or without a kitchen.  As long as we know ahead of time what the venue provides, we can make it work.  The retirement menu worked perfectly for a scenario where there was limited table seating; everything was utensil free.  Light, refreshing, perfect for a wedding reception, anniversary party, celebration of any type.
