Catering with Teatime Delicacies, Inc. at Stone Tower Winery, Leesburg VA
Once again Teatime Delicacies, Inc. was fortunate to be able to cater at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg VA www.stonetowerwinery.com
Teatime’s rocking crew featured left to right: Awesome bar tending team Chris and Ruth; sister niece team Becky-Ruth-Sara; life of the party servers Terri-Anita-Gio! I have, with no doubt, the most fabulous team of staff a person could ask for.
The bride was the sister of a previous client, so working with the family again was a real treat. They wanted a more casual “picnic” style menu as the season was late June and the weather was warm, although for the Washington DC area it was pretty spectacular.
During the cocktail hour, while guests milled about the lower level and enjoyed some of the winery’s offerings, guests enjoyed a variety of appetizers:
We served trays of Assorted Bruschetta with toppings of Tomato Basil, Herb Cheese, or Spicy Seafood Salad. Along with an Assorted Domestic and Imported Cheeses and Crackers were platters of Marinated Roast Pepper Beef with Chipotle Cabernet Cream:
After the appetizer hour, the guests were invited to the upper level of the venue for the buffet dinner.
Guests were seated at family style rectangular tables as well as round tables for the wedding reception. Burlap runners and overlays added to the rustic charm of the venue.
The buffet dinner was set up at the other end of the room..
Two of the menu items selected for our bride and groom featured a Red Bliss Country Potato Salad:
And a Tri Colored Coleslaw Salad:
Although I don’t have a photo featured in this particular blog, I have to tell you the Jalapeno Cheddar Corn Bread knocked our socks off!! The groom offered that as a suggestion, and it ROCKED! This caterer enjoyed a small stash for breakfast the next day!
We offered a selection of brownies bites and a sugar free Apple Bavarian Torte along with a lovely Wedding Cake with their last name initial as the cake topper
Ruth’s Yellow Butter Cake with Fresh Strawberry Filling. Yum!
The only thing missing from this post would be a photo of the stunning bride and groom. I’ll work on that! And now I’m back and can remedy that with this stunning photo of the happy couple:
Congrats to Krisztina and James, I wish you both the very best.
