Teatime Catering Bar in Washington DC

Providing a bar service for your wedding reception, anniversary party, birthday party, or any type of celebration often involves providing bartending service. Teatime Delicacies can provide you with fantastic bartenders as well as guidance to quantities. Our clientele generally prefers to purchase their own alcohol, it can be a significant money saving option. Teatime can provide all the non alcoholic beverages as well as mixers, glasses, and soft drinks, iced tea.
Depending upon the layout of the venue, we can present some of the stationary appetizers along with the bar service. The above photo shows our Sugar Spiced Apple wood Smoked Salmon with Water Crackers. Our bartender, Kim, is preparing the bar by placing beer and white wine is galvanized steel tub to chill. This is the first things we, as the caterer, do when we begin our set up at any venue. We chill down all the alcohol. A money saving tip I often suggest is to use clear plastic disposable glasses for your bar. You never know if every time a guest request an additional drink, they want a new glass. For 100 guests this means we need to bring approx. 300 glasses. While we certainly can arrange this, if it’s not a priority, by all means do NOT spend money there!
A middle of the road formula for a typical wedding reception of 100 guests sticking with wine and beer only recommends the following:

If you decide to go with a full bar, we recommend keeping it simple; offer 5 basic spirits:
