Catering in Fairfax, Virginia – Investing/Retirement Discussion Dinner

Fresh Fruit and Chocolate

Let’s start with the GOOD STUFF FIRST!!  Last night’s dinner-discussion at Fairfax Railroad Museum in Fairfax City, Fairfax Virginia www.fairfax-station.org/
Andrew Cook of Wells Fargo Financial Advising holds these informative dinner discussions multiple times over the years at this quaint Fairfax Station VA museum.
Last night’s discussion, “Nine big mistakes when saving for retirement”.
Nine things that are GREAT about Teatime Delicacies, Inc. doing the catering!
1. Teatime Delicacies, Inc. doing the catering!
2. Well, just look at that dessert?  Fresh Strawberries and Pineapple drizzled with semi-sweet Chocolate.  Fresh and decadent at the same time!

Asian Pear Salad

3. Mixed Green Salad with Baby Spinach, Tomato, Scallion, Thinly Sliced Asian Pear, Feta Cheese and Ruth’s Balsamic Vinaigrette.  Fresh, colorful, and delicious!

Grilled Chipotle Lime Chicken Breast

4. Grilled Chipotle Lime Chicken Breast about to make it’s way onto a skewer.  Well, first there needs to be some quality control…

Grilled Chicken and Flank on Skewers

5.  Typically we do separate displays of Skewered Chicken or Skewered Beef, but tonight we mixed it up a bit.  One side of the display was Grilled Chipotle Lime Chicken Breast and the other side was Grilled Sesame Flank Steak.  Check out the perfect doneness on that flank steak, medium rare. This menu was PERFECT for a 90 degree late spring day in  the Washington DC area.

6.  It really isn’t a meal without some sort of cheese, is it?

Cheesy Cheesy Pasta

7. What do you know, there’s the cheesy component to the menu!  Cavatelli Pasta with Al Fredo Sauce.  It was the one hot chaffing dish item, and complimented the rest of the menu beautifully. Isn’t cheese it’s own food group?

8.  Dessert along with the fresh fruit and chocolate was Apple Bavarian Torte:  vanilla cookie crust, cheesecake base topped with apples, cinnamon and pecans.  Delish!

9. Teatime set it up, served, cleaned up after and the guests-hosts never needed to lift a finger.  Just sit back and enjoy.

I would say that was 9 great ideas all in one night!
