Catering at Stone Tower Winery with Teatime Delicacies, Inc.
And does it get any better than this?! This past weekend Teatime Delicacies, Inc. catered a wedding reception at Stone Tower Winery www.stonetowerwinery.com
This family owned venue carved out a 200 acre site where they planted a vineyard and built the winery. Sited on Hogback Mountain just outside of Leesburg Virginia, it is a stunning location for a country wedding. The weather was spectacular, and one of my staff, Gio, captured this sunset photo of the venue.
Earlier in the afternoon the ceremony took place outside in the vineyard.
The winery closes to the public by 5:30 in the afternoon, so the guests and family have the venue to themselves. The wedding party then strolled back to the main building to enjoy a cocktail hour on the lower level.
Teatime served the winery’s wine along with a selection of appetizers including Assorted Domestic and Imported Cheeses and Crackers.
California and Vegetarian Sushi Rolls, Silver Dollar Crab Cakes w/ Roasted Red Bell Pepper Sauce, Miniature Country Ham Biscuits, and a special appetizer created just for the bride:

As the cocktail hour winds down, guests are invited upstairs for the buffet meal featuring Carved Steamship Round of Beef, Ruth’s House Salad, Chicken Marabella, Mac ‘N Cheese with Crunchy topping (incredible), Garlic Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes, Fresh Fruit Arrangement.
An easy drive for guests in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia area, Saturday’s event was at 100 guests and easily accommodated. As the meal finished, the guests drifted back downstairs for more drinking, dancing, and of course: Wedding Cake!

This is a young venue and once the word is out, it is going to be booked solid. The staff is exceptional, and Teatime had a blast!
