Teatime Delicacies, Inc Catering at Northern Virginia Community College Annandale Campus

This past weekend Teatime scored a personal best – an event for 600 guests!! A local church congregation celebrated their capital campaign with a service held in the venue’s theater followed by a luncheon served in the atrium, both at the Ernst Cultural Center at Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale VA www.ernstculturalcenter.com
The venue provides tables and chairs as well as bistro tables we scattered throughout the building.  There are various art displays downstairs and in other rooms besides the atrium.  There is a magnificent kitchen (Ruth doing her happy feet dance) and acres of parking right next door.  It is one of few venues in the area that can accommodate this many people that allows outside catering.


Our Fruit Display includes fresh sliced pineapple, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, watermelon, papaya

To ease the traffic of this many guests, we provided stations instead of one long buffet.  The above photo is the fruit/cheese/cracker station.  Other stations included the salads:  Asian Sesame Noodle Salad w/ Grilled Flank Steak; California Rice Salad with Marinated Artichoke Hearts; Bow Tie Pasta w/ Fresh Dill and Feta.
Station #3 had Assorted Sandwiches with Chutney Chicken Salad, Smoked Turkey and Ham; Grilled Garlic Lime Chicken bites on Toothpicks
Station #4 were Dessert Bites w/ Cream Cheese Brownies, Blondies, and an Assortment of Home Made Cookies

The Beverage Station served Coffee/Decaf, Hot Water for  Tea and Hot Chocolate, as well as Citrus Fruit Punch featuring orange juice, apple juice, pineapple juice and ginger ale. 
The event was widely successful, overheard one guest remark, “Wow, I had no idea it was going to be this GOOD!!”
