Catering By Teatime is always delighted to cater at one
of our favorite Northern Virginia wedding reception venues in the heart
of Fairfax City, VA: Old Town Hall www.weddingsinfairfax.com
And what a fantastic bride and groom, Jennifer and Rob, who made the event even more fun!
This particular venue has two levels, and if the couple decides to
get married and have the reception all in one place, the upstairs
library is a perfect setting for a ceremony.

Following their ceremony, Jennifer and Rob joined guests on the main level for a
cocktail hour that featured appetizers of Silver Dollar Salmon Cakes w/
Pesto Mayo; Baked Brie in Puff Pastry; Assorted Bruschetta; and a
Pineapple Mango Salsa with Corn Tortilla Chips (Yum!!).

The main meal was served inside the main level dining room with high beamed wood columns and gorgeous wood floors.

The menu featured Ruth’s House Salad; Grilled Indonesian Chicken
on Bamboo Skewers w/ Peanut Dipping Sauce; Bow Tie Pasta Salad with
Fresh Dill-Feta Cheese-Sun Dried Tomato and Snow Peas; Roasted Red Bliss
Garlic Potatoes; Fresh Seasonal Fruits; and Marinated Roast Pepper Beef
with Chipotle Cabernet Cream:

Old Town Hall is a multi use venue that not only accommodates a wedding ceremony plus reception, it is also used for art shows, business meetings, even high school reunions. There are multiple parking options within walking distance, plus a small park adjacent to the building. A great catering kitchen with warming ovens on the ground floor allows off site caterers to provide full buffet menus.
Of course no wedding reception catered by Teatime
would be complete without one of Ruth’s signature wedding cakes. The cake topper was a
family heirloom from the bride’s grandmother, incredible!
