Saturday night’s wedding was held at Sunset Hills Vineyard in Purcellville VA www.sunsethillsvineyard.com.
The ceremony was overlooking the vineyard, the buffet dinner was inside a restored barn that features a main dining room with loft dining as well, and a killer bar.  My bartender Chris, pictured in white shirt, was the auxiliary bartender as the venue provided staff as well.  For dessert we went out in style.  The bride and groom really loved strawberry shortcake, so instead of a traditional wedding cake we served individual servings made with home made shortcakes, sweetened whipped cream and of course:  sliced strawberries.  The bride and groom as well as the guests were over the moon.  It is a beautiful venue and they only rent the space out for a limited amount of weddings during the year.  If you aren’t interested in renting for an event, just check it out on a Saturday afternoon with a group of friends for some wine tasting!
