Bride chose to have single layer wedding cake surrounded by attendant’s bouquets
The back of bride’s dress just drop dead gorgeous!
What’s not to love with Jambalaya??
Saturday’s wedding took place at The George Washington Masonic Memorial in Alexandria Virginia. www.gwmemorial.org/ Ali and Brian chose a non conventional menu that her guests raved about. Their signature cocktail was lemonade with blueberry vodka garnished with fresh blueberries. Their buffet included Jambalaya (3rd photo above), killer Baked Mac ‘N Cheese with Sun dried Tomatoes topped with a Cheddar and Panko topping, House Salad, Maple Roasted Fall Vegetable Medley, and a selection of Sliders featuring Pulled Pork BBQ, Balsamic Glazed Portobella Mushroom, and Marinated Roast Pepper Beef with Chipotle Cabernet Cream. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we prepared a single tier (top photo surrounded by her brides maid bouquets) and served it along side a dessert buffet that included Miniature Pecan Tarts, Raspberry Truffle Brownie Wedges, and Apple Spice Cake with Warm Caramel Sauce. While Teatime Delicacies can take no credit for the dress (!) I wanted to include a photo of the back of Al’s gown, it was just spectacular from every angle, and I loved the back! Finally, if you book a reception at the Masonic Temple, there will be a tour guide running groups of guests up the elevator to the observation deck on the very top of the building. I can assure you this is TRULY a breathtaking view. This is just before midnight looking over the city of Alexandria VA with the Potomac River in the background. Views from to the left include Washington DC and the Washington Monument, views to the right feature National Harbor in Maryland. There is no other venue in the Metropolitan area with such a view. Congratulations Ali and Brian. www.teatimeinc.com
