This past Saturday we were the first wedding reception for Goose Creek Gardens & Pavilion in Ashburn VA,  just outside of Leesburg VA www.goosecreekgardens.com

The property sits along a beautifully landscaped property adjacent to Goose Creek. The stunning tent can accommodate up to 300 guests, with lovely gardens and paths to explore during a cocktail hour.  The lights from the ceiling are truly whimsical.

While a bride and groom could easily arrange the ceremony on site, our bride and groom married at their local church and arrived just at sunset.  On a chilly March evening, the tent was fully heated and guests enjoyed their drinks and appetizers.  The bride provided wanted a wedding cake with an abstract design featuring grey ribbon, and a cake top that spelled out “WE DO”

Our menu featured Chicken Picatta, Carved Steamship Round of Beef, Linguine with Sun Dried Tomato-Cilantro-Parmesan, Garlic Roasted Potatoes.  The cake was a chocolate fudge with cream cheese filling and a yellow butter w/ fresh strawberries.
Chilly outside, cozy inside. It was a wonderful wedding reception enjoyed by all.
